After completing his undergraduate education at Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina, Dr. Fornwalt attended Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency in otolaryngology at Mercy Health-St. Elizabeth Boardman, Ohio, where he gained extensive experience diagnosing and treating a wide range of ear, nose, and throat conditions. Dr. Fornwalt has published multiple peer-reviewed papers and received several grants.
Dr. Fornwalt's passion for comprehensive otolaryngology equips him to treat adult and pediatric patients with a wide range of disorders, from childhood illnesses to head and neck cancer, and everything in between. Dr. Fornwalt is certified to perform hypoglossal nerve stimulator implantation (Inspire), a revolutionary treatment for some patients who suffer from obstructive sleep apnea.
