A Proven CPAP Alternative for Obstructive Sleep Apnea
Many patients with sleep apnea struggle with CPAP due to discomfort, claustrophobia, air leaks, or poor sleep quality. Inspire® was designed specifically for patients who cannot tolerate CPAP but still need effective treatment for obstructive sleep apnea.
Inspire® works from inside the body, restoring natural breathing during sleep.
What Is Inspire® Hypoglossal Nerve Stimulation?
Inspire® is an implantable sleep apnea therapy that treats obstructive sleep apnea by stimulating the hypoglossal nerve — the nerve responsible for tongue movement.
By gently moving the tongue forward during sleep, Inspire® helps keep the airway open and prevents obstruction at the source of sleep apnea.
