
Anthony Mendez joins Valley ENT after a 17-year career at Mayo Clinic in the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. He graduated from Arizona State University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. He then earned a Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Midwestern University in 2008. In 2009, Anthony completed postgraduate fellowship training in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Mayo Clinic.
Throughout his career, Anthony has held roles in patient care, education, and administration. He was regularly recognized as a “Top Performer” by Mayo Clinic’s Office of Patient Experience. He has served as a mentor to physician assistants and medical trainees, and for many years, he was the Program Director of the Mayo Clinic postgraduate physician assistant fellowship in Otolaryngology. During his time at Mayo, Anthony also held leadership positions within both the department and the institution.
Anthony loves spending time with his wife and two children. They enjoy activities together like cooking, sports, and visiting theme parks.
He is excited to offer high-quality ENT care to his local community.
