Valley ENT now has an easy-to-use telemedicine option for you. Safe, practical, expert care from our specialists without travel to our office and with no worries of exposure during COVID-19 (coronavirus).
Telemedicine access direct to your VENT specialist is ideal for many follow up visits. For example you can monitor recovery from illness, review test results together, ask questions and hear firsthand about your diagnosis and treatment options.
Better still, same day appointments are often available and telemedicine visits are now covered by most insurance plans.
Using telemedicine is easy.
- Call your VENT office to find out if an appointment is right for you.
- A video conference is scheduled for you on your smart-phone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer.
- A VENT medical assistant will call you ahead of your appointment. She will update your medical information so your VENT specialist has an up-to-the-minute picture of your health. You may be asked to easily download a medical history form we'll send you. You print it and email or fax it back to us.

- Don't worry if you can't do this, our medical assistant can ask you for information verbally.
- Next, the provider will send you an invitation either by text message or email to open a link to the telemedicine visit. Watch for this so that you can open it when you receive it.
- Usually, the doctor is now immediately ready for you in the "virtual waiting" room.
- Your doctor joins you, your video meeting starts and you're having a two-way telemedicine consultation!
