Duties:

• Administer and interpret diagnostic audiologic tests including speech audiometry, air and bone conduction thresholds, tympanometry, otoacoustic emissions to determine type and degree of hearing impairment.
  
• Administer and interpret advanced audiology diagnostics for evaluation of auditory electrophysiology via auditory brainstem response (ABR) and electrocochleography (ECOG). Also, perform electronystagmography (ENG) for evaluation of vestibular disorders.
  
• Plans and implements prevention, habilitation or rehabilitation services, including hearing aid selection, fitting, counseling, auditory training and other treatment programs developed in consultation with Physician and other professionals.
  
• Verify authorization for audiology services or hearing aid coverage benefits.

Qualifications:

• Masters in Audiology accepted if received prior to 2001, otherwise AuD required.
• State of Arizona Hearing Aid Dispensing License and ASHA Certification
