Hearing Aids and Assisting Listening Devices

Evaluations

Hearing loss is a common medical problem with many causes, including inner ear changes related to aging and noise exposure, ear infections, structural changes within the middle ear, and even tumors. Hearing loss is not something to be laughed at and you don't want to do a "simple fix" such as going to a hearing aid shop in the mall to get a hearing aid. If you have hearing loss, you need to be first evaluated by a ear specialist so that more serious conditions such as tumors can be ruled out. Then, if appropriate, your physician can provide hearing aids for you.

Dispensing Hearing Aids

We are ear specialists and as part of our treatment of ear problems, we dispense a variety of digital, programmable, and conventional hearing aids. We have well-trained masters- and PhD-level audiologists who assist our physicians in this endeavor.

Our audiologists will:

  1. Perform your hearing tests
  2. Fit your hearing aids
  3. Service the hearing aids if any problems arise

We also provide our patients with a trial period during which their hearing aids may be returned if they are not satisfied.

Don't Put It Off

So, if you or your spouse or a family member are having a problem with hearing, please schedule a consultation with our physicians so the problem can be accurately diagnosed and, if appropriate, treated with hearing aids.
