Jennifer Acuna, joined Valley ENT, P.C. in August 2008 as a clinic site manager for the Foothills location in Tucson, the joint home of Catalina Eye Care, an affiliate, and Valley ENT. Prior to this position, Ms. Acuna worked for the University Physicians Healthcare Group as a Reimbursement Manager for over seven years. With 15 years experience in healthcare, Ms. Acuna has extensive knowledge of the revenue cycle where the majority of her career has been focused on billing, reimbursement, compliance, and coding. She has functioned as an independent auditor for a large medical practice in Southern Arizona, where she has reviewed physician documentation to insure the overall compliance with billing regulations. Ms. Acuna attended the University of Arizona where she majored in Business Administration.

Ms. Acuna is a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) as well a Certified Professional Coder for Hospitals (CPC-H). She is currently a member of the American Academy of Professional Coders and participates in yearly conferences. She is a member of the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) and is studying to complete her Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) designation.

When she is not working she enjoys spending time with her two beautiful girls, making them laugh and smile.
