WELCOME TO VALLEY ENT

Welcome to Valley ENT, Arizona's largest ENT practice with twenty-one doctors located throughout the greater Phoenix and Tucson metropolitan areas in 14 different locations. We pride ourselves in providing the best Ear, Nose and Throat care in an efficient manner that fits into your busy schedule. Our practice specializes in providing state of the art care with such in-house services as CT scanners, Ultrasound, allergy testing, diagnostic audiology, and hearing aid products.

MORE APPOINTMENTS IN 2009

Can't find time to see one of our physicians during a weekday? Wish your ear, nose and throat specialist would have weekend hours? Valley ENT is proud to be one of the first otolaryngology practices to offer weekend hours for convenience of busy professionals like you. New for 2009, we will be providing appointments on Saturdays with our board certified physicians --- not mid-level providers. Please call us at (623) 566-4718 and ask about our Saturday office hours.

MORE LOCATIONS IN 2009

Valley ENT continues to expand! Valley ENT is opening two new locations in 2009. Nestled in the Foothills area of Tucson metropolitan area, our practice will be opening a brand new, 2800 square foot office in concert with Lynn Polanski MD, noted Tucson ophthalmologist formerly associated with University of Arizona, at 4021 E. Sunrise Road, Tucson. Our Tucson physician staff of Steven Blatchford, AJ Emami, James Gordon, and Adam Ray will begin conducting office hours in early February 2009. Dr. Polanski will begin seeing patients during the last week of January 2009. Need an appointment? Call (520) 792-2170 to schedule your visit today!

If that's not enough for you, Valley ENT is also readying another new location in south Scottsdale on the campus of Scottsdale Healthcare Osborn. This location at 3501 North Scottsdale Road, (formerly the Baggette Coffee Shop), will be the future home of returning Phoenix native, Timothy Kelsch MD. This location opens July 16th - call us at (480) 273-8448 to schedule an appointment at this location.

MORE DOCTORS IN 2009

New office space and more appointments only mean one thing --- more physicians joining our team! Valley ENT is always happy to announce new additions to our hard-working staff of physicians. As previously noted, formerly Phoenix native Timothy Kelsch MD joins our team this summer at our newest location in South Scottsdale. A board certified otolaryngologist, Dr. Kelsch is currently finishing his serivce in the United States Armed Forces in Augusta, Georgia, where he was staff instructor for otolaryngology at Eisenhower Medical Center.

Maulik Shah, MD will also be joining our practice at nearly the same time. Expected in mid-summer as well, Dr. Shah is a new physician who is completing his residency training in New York at the Albert Einstein School of Medicine and graduated from Columbia University College of Physician and Surgeons. Shah will join the physician team of Jeff McKenna and James Chuang, and nurse practitioner, Lynette Lambert, at our Ahwatukee location on 5110 E. Warner Road, Phoenix.

MORE COMMUNITY SERVICE IN 2009

Valley ENT is actively involved in the well being of the community. Our physicians often work with local charities to provide care of the indigent, both here and abroad. For example, Dr. Ishrat Hakim, from our West Valley offices, routinely works with the Mission of Mercy (see www.amissionofmercy.org) to help needy families who need care at their clinic locations in Maryvale, Phoenix, and Mesa. Dr. Hakim has logged many hours with this operation treating the elderly, single moms, and children -- giving all from his free time.

Giving back doesn't stop there either. Dr. Jeff McKenna and Dr. Don Burgio, along with their vounteer team, logged two trips to rural Mexico in 2008 for medical missions and have planned more trips in 2009. Their most recent trip found them performing 5 straight days of surgeries, averaging at least 15 surgical cases per day that covered everything from simple tonsillectomies to repair of cleft palate.

Dr. Shepherd Pryor has donated his time to FACE to FACE: a humanitarian organization in Arizona designed to assist women who are victims of domestic violence.

Valley ENT is proud to support these doctors as they give back to the community. We urge other physicians and businesses to sponsor these events with their time and monetary support.
